John was an avid sports fan, his favorite teams included the Duke Blue Devils, the New York Mets, and the San Francisco 49ers;
he was also unbeatable at Jeopardy and Trivial Pursuit.
Visitation will be held Thursday at Schaff Funeral Home beginning at 4:00 PM until time of service 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Spinal Cord Research are appreciated.
