of Antigo died Thursday, May 15, 2008 at his home.
He was 90 years old. Born August 15, 1917 in the town of Rolling to the late Charles and Anna (Stengl) Grall, he married Harriet Pawlak on October 25, 1941 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in Antigo.
They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2001. She preceded him in death on Feb. 25, 2002.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 - 1945 having served in the Battle of the Bulge.
After service Mr. Grall worked at Milk Bottle Crate Co. until 1958, then worked as a maintenance mechanic at Kraft Co. until retirement in 1980.
He was a member of St. Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church, and the Leland Tollefson VFW Post 2653, Antigo.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed bowling and dancing.
Survivors include his daughter, Shirley (Roger) Kegley Lake Havasu City, AZ, his son, Gerald (Sally) Grall, Appleton,
four Grandchildren, Bill (Courtney) Kegley, McKinney, TX, Scott (Danelle) Kegley, Horicon, Angela (David) Carney, Appleton, Jeremy Grall and fiancee Carrie Elzie, Nashville, TN,
five Great-Grandchildren, Brady, Nicole and Jacob Kegley, Aiden and Adelyn Carney,
four sisters in Law, Lorraine Grall and Irene Grall both of Antigo, Margaret Pawlak, West Bend, Geraldine Pawlak, Milwaukee.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, one sister, Adeline Martin, two brothers, Harry and Alvin Grall, two brothers in law Walter and Casimir Pawlak.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. Jeremiah Worman officiating.
Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday 3:30 - 7:30 p.m. and on Wed. from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. all at the Bradley Funeral Home.
Parish wake service will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
