Samolinski died at 83 on Monday Martha Samolinski, 83, of 302 Mapleview Rd., Town of Antigo, died Monday at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield. Born Jan. 17, 1902 in the Town of Rolling, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Steve Noskowiak. She married Leon Samolinski Feb. 17 , 1925 at St. Hyacinth Catholic church. He preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 1965. Mrs. Samolinski moved to the Town of Antigo following her marriage. She was a member of the St. Hyacinth Catholic church and the church Rosary Society. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Lydia) Mach, and Mrs. Mike (Delphia) Rosio, both of Antigo; a son, Douglas of Antigo; three sisters, Mrs. Elman (Helen) Jirovec of Antigo, Mrs. Walter (Barbara) Hartman of North Liberty, Indiana, and Mrs. John (Margaret) Antonelli of Forest Park, Ill.; three brothers, Louis and John, both of Antigo and Anton of Chicago, Ill.; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Hyacinth Catholic church. Rev. John Gallagher will officiate. Burial will be in Queen of Peace cemetery. Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the McCandless-Zobel and Bradley Funeral Home. Samolinski Dies at Age 61 Leon F. Samolinski, 61, town of Antigo farmer, died at 10 a.m. today. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Samolinski was born Oct. 24 1903, in the town of Norwood. On Feb. 17, 1925 he was married to Martha Noskowiak. Surviving besides his wife are two daughters and a son, Mrs. Clarence (Lydia) Mach, Mrs. Michael (Delthia) Rosio and Douglas, and a brother John, all of Antigo. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren. A sister, Stella, and two brothers Joseph and Peter are deceased. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Hyacinth's Catholic church with the Rev. Msgr. Victor Hoppa officiating. Burial will be in Queen of Peace cemetery. Friends may call at the McCandless-Zobel and Bradley funeral home after 2p.m. Friday and the rosary will be said at 8 Friday night. The McCandless-Zobel and Bradley funeral home had charge of the arrangements. The church choir provided music for the requiem Mass. Pallbearers were Robert Samolinski, William Noskowiak, Donald Samolinski, Edward Antonille, Ben Antoniewicz and Larry Mach. |
