Beatrice Buelow, of Antigo,
died Friday, May 29, 2009 at Eastview Medical & Rehabilitation Center.
She was 90 years old. She was born on September 28, 1918 in Elmhurst to John and Lena (Nousen) Schmoll.
She married Raymond Buelow on July 1, 1939 in Antigo.
He preceded her in death on January 12, 1991.
Following marriage she moved to Leona then to Milwaukee in 1943.
She returned to Antigo in 1977. Mrs. Buelow was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and a homemakers club.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy (Tu) Payne, Salt Lake City, Utah, Carol (Todd) Stoehr, Clintonville, Geraldine (Dean) Molzner, Watertown,
two sons, Ellsworth Butch (Margaret) Buelow, Fox Lake, Richard (Kathy) Buelow, Sturgeon Bay,
a sister, Helen Antoniewicz, Milwaukee, 23 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sisters Erma Fischer and Emma Seis, three brothers Herbert, Robert Pete, Ernest Schmoll.
Services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Scott Kruse, oficiating.
Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home and on Wednesday at the church one hour prior to services.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Peace Lutheran Church.
Tumolehu Liee Payne
1933 ~ 2010 Tu died on March 30th, 2010. He was born on January 23rd, 1933, in Hihifo, Tonga, to Meleane and Alfred Payne.
Tu grew up in Nukualofa, Tonga. He learned to play homemade guitar as a child and grew to be able to play all string instruments and formed many bands over the years.
While going to school to become a lawyer, he was a guard for the Queen of Tonga and a police officer.
Later, he moved to New Zealand and become a detective. He moved to America and became an American citizen in 1975.
He married Anita Harms who passed away in 1987.
He married Dorothy Buelow in 1988.
Tu worked for the Jordan School District and retired in 1996. In 1983, he joined the LDS Church.
He was a hard worker. He was very loving and non-judgmental with a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy; children Dateline (Salote), Diana (Seasau), Eileen (Lonny), Kelly (Nancy), Brian (Kathy), Judy (Uulopa), Jane (BA), Tomasi (Joy), Maryann (John);
32 grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother Raymond; and other extended family in New Zealand.
Preceded in death by his parents and first wife Anita Harms.
A viewing will be held on Friday, April 2nd from 7 to 9 p.m. at Crescent Ridge 5th Ward, 10975 S. Prescott (1650 E.), Sandy.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 3rd at 12:30 p.m. with a viewing two hours prior to services, also at the church.
Interment will be on Monday, April 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Hills Memorial Park, 10055 S. State Street, Sandy.
